Boiled Corn on the Cob

This is a very simple recipe. I wanted to post because you have to do it right.

Directions:

Shuck the corn wiping away all of the fibers. Put a 3/4 full pot of water on the stove and bring to a boil. Do not I repeat do not add salt to water. Boil for around seven minutes depending on the number of corn. You don’t wanna overdo corn. Colorful corn will change color and visually be a little more vibrant when cooked others you can’t tell at all. Notes the featured image above to the below image as it’s the same corn before and after.

Tips: The fresher the corn the better. Always best when you were sucking at yourself. If you buy from the store like that you have no idea when they did it and how long it has been sitting out. I always prefer super sweet to the other types. Peaches and cream is probably my least favorite of all tyoes. My featured picture violates all my rules however it is early March right now and there is no fresh corn here in Colorado. I bought this from Costco and it was quite tasty.
